Helping Fellow Artists

I am so happy to introduce and carry Purses by Manica! Manica Bryant is a published author who also has many other talents, one of which is making beautiful hand crocheted purses for girls and adults. Each one is unique, fully lined and have either a zipper closure or drawstring. These purses are sure to go quickly and make perfect gifts.  Be sure to check them out !

We should all strive to help one another and give our support to others who enjoy their talent.

Fresh New Ideas

Making jewelry from assorted materials is exciting and relaxing at the same time. I am going to experiment with making paper beads to use for making jewelry items. Also with summer coming, it is time to experiment with a few new pieces to spiffy up existing outfits.  Fun, fun, fun!

Tis the Season!

The holidays seem to roll around faster and faster each year! We really appreciate all who have visited our site and supported us. May your Thanksgiving be filled with the warmth and love of family and friends!

Ideas flowing

Since I have been spending time working on the website, I have so many ideas for new pieces. I'm always on the lookout for different beads and how I will put them together. However, must continue to post these pictures and name these pieces. Most names are from past students or friends I've met along the way. Thanks for stopping in. Until next time, be creative!

Making Jewelry

Many people who see my jewelry often ask me how I come up with my designs. I try to explain to them that when I purchase different beads, I have no idea what the finished product will look like. When making a new piece, I lay some beads out on my jewelry board and begin arranging and rearranging them until it speaks to me that it is finished. I once had a lady to stop at my table who said that she did not wear jewelry and that God had taken it away from her. I related a story to her of another lady I heard say that when I lived in Germany. She was so glad to hear that someone had had her same experience. She then proceeded to pray over my table of jewelry and said, " You think you are selling jewelry, but what you are really selling is God's Love". I felt blessed by her statement. One of my favorite parts of selling jewelry is meeting all the wonderful people who stop by just to chat. I count them as new friends. Be Blessed!
